Devon Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Kai was established in 1984 by the late T.Takamizawa 7th Dan Kyoshi and his student Peter Hill 7th Dan Sensei. Devon Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Kai are full and founder members of the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy whose chief instructor is the world renowned and much respected M.Shiomitsu 9th Dan Hanshi.

Through the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy, Devon Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Kai are members of the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Renmei, English Karate Federation, European Karate Federation and World Karate Federation.
